Got hailed on for a little over a minute. I don't think there is any damage (none to my tonneau cover at least). Then it poured for 5 minutes. Then I had to drive through A LOT of standing water (not deep, but just a lot of large puddles). I slowed way down and kept the splashing to a minimum. The truck never hesitated (thank god). I didn't want to get water where it isn't supposed to be.
Some idiot in a late '90s Ram was flooring it through the puddles, throwing a huge spray towards oncoming cars, and broke the back end loose a few times. Where's a cop when you need one?

I'm confused... was this guy an idiot for driving a Ram or because he was driving though the puddles - with a Ram?




I considered buying a Dodge, but unfortunately, Hell hasn't froze over yet.

I also considered buying a Ford... man, was I really drunk that night!

Well I'm headed off to work, and would like to finish tearing down the fence when I get home, but I think it's gunna be raining, so who knows, maybe I'll wash my truck inside, and give it a break till monday when It's not raining
I also ordered a pretty neat GMC belt buckle off ebay, and it's even RED

I washed my new truck and polished the plastic and metal chrome parts with Mother Chrome Polish yesterday afternoon.
