I too don't care whose name is on the tire, but I do care about the quality of the build into one. I am leary of all this overseas BS stuff.

BFG doesn't make any private label tires. They are owned by Michelin and are a single support brand of tire.

I agree about the quality. From what I see in this slightly used one I bought today, I like it. It appears to be a good high mileage tire.

Actually, I don't think there's any reason they have to be black anymore. They've been making bicycle tires in various colors for years now, so why not car and truck tires too?
