What cam did you say I should slap in my Tahoe???

In all honesty, I would go with the one I have in mine (I think you have the 5.3). It is as great DD cam, and will work fantastic if you go FI. It is a CompCam 206/212 115LSA.

I could buy a blower now, it's just not in the plans for this ride.

I'm going to find a project over the next year or two to make fast, I think. That one might get a blower.

You need a MINIMUM of new lifters along with the cam. I'd do pushrods and new rockers if you want to do things right...

Even better... find a low mile 5.3 or 6.0 and do it!

Not sure I wanna buy another motor though. I'm not sure how much cash I wanna drop on a 10-yr-old ride.

Personally I would not drop a cam in an engine with 100K on it. I'd want to build something. Just my .02

If you leave it as is, it will probably pass 200K without issue.
