How is going there cecil!

Pretty good gonna be at my dads Tuesday putting a body lift on the blue truck, your welcome to come out.

how you like them tires?

The thornbirds suck, but the guy is on a budget, $500 for tires that have never been mounted is a great Deal. He really likes them though, but there's much better choices.

Got my rear leaf springs, this is great news. Because the cheapest price I could find for new springs is $650. well drum roll please, picked these springs up for $125 they had some surface rust on them, and need new bushings but thats eay to fix.

Sand Baslted them, and painted them. Look pretty much new now. Got to find out what bushings will fit them, kinda hard when you dont know the manufacturer.

Well lets hope these things settle alittle, they are 17" tall from ground to center of arc, I only need 15" of lift max, or the rear will sit higher than the front.

Decided to keep the RED and BLACK theme and paint the hardware red.

Nice Find!! Surface rust that's funny, but hey YOUR gain. I like the overall build you got going.:D

I like the red and black color scheme going on. Those rims and tires looked bad ass before ,but with the red and black REALLY look BFA!

Have you pulled tape on the roof height yet? If your bed rails are over 6'6"(per you friends height) I would say you have to be somewhere in the 9' + range!

Roof is somewhere in the ball park or 9'3"- 9'8" (ill get an exact when im over there)

thanks for the compliments, Its taking every bit of my strength not to go back to all black. I love the black/red combo, its just a bold statement over the murdered look. Compliments like yours makes me think the choice was right.
