yeah i seen a sick stroked as i said earlier and that whould be a future possible build. that truck looked nasty it had spray on it also but im not much into that type stuff

im more about getting power from the motor an forced air

it all cant be done at once i mean i wish it could but it cant. ill have to buy stuff here and there. parts that is and if i get a 6.0 it whould probily be a month before i had the cash put back. if not more where as i could go down an get a 5.3 out of one check. then do other stuff here an there.

and of course look the motor over real good new gaskets etc..

i just got off the phone with a wrecking yard and they had a 6.0 there for $750. without the computer or the wirning harness thats the price. but with the next two items they said lookin right at 1000$

You already have the computer and wiring harness :dunno:

Ive got an 01 with the 5.3. Ive got a CAI, Magnaflow exhaust, and a Bully Dog power programmer and it will beat the mustang GT's out there. I even have heavy wheels and tires. there is a lot of power to be found in the 5.3's

yes ive thought about slapping on a carb want something a bit different this time.

yeah i thought about the bully dog thing for the daily driver

but im real intrested in doing the engine swap in the 82

the 6.0 will still be 1000$ with the computer

Are you looking for LQ9's or LQ4's?
