Hey all, I thought I would just start a little thread about the truck I started building last fall just before the damn snow fell and it got to cold to work in my unheated shop lol. Its about that time that I can start workn on her again so here's the link to the pics.

http://s746.photobucket.com/albums/xx108/assman69/87 High Sierra Project truck/

I have a freshly built 5.7 vortec for her with a 700r4 tranny with a stage 2 shift kit...or a new b&m th350....still undecided on which one i want to use.

Its gettin an Eaton posi with 3:73 gears
Rubber is gonna be a set of M/T Sportsman S/R
Front 26x10x15
Rear 26x12x15

Colors, im not to sure of yet.....Probably a deep blue (almost black) with a silver flake....

Anyways this was the starting point untill how she sits now.

Be kind lol.

Nice project, hard to go wrong with that body style. A dark blue would look real good on it.

Hey rynodog, Glad to see you here buddy. I have been watching you over there at the other hell hole, not getting any responses or help. I forget now what you needed help with. Be sure to let us know, and I am sure we can help you out. Sure glad to see a 73-87 truck here. I haven't even posted pics of my junk yet. Maybe as I get some progress made, I will do so.

My dad had a sweet little '87 that was 2 toned dark blue and silver. I can't remember what color the blue was but it was pretty dark, no metal flaking though. I think it will look sharp when painted.
