1. Airaid MIT (Modular Intake Tube) $120ish
2. Drop-in air filter K&N, AEM.....etc. $60ish
3. Exhaust (Magnaflow, Corsa, etc....) $140-$600ish
4. Custom tune $350ish

I say that give or take a couple hundred buck you could stay in the $1000 budget, of course that all depends on your preferences in brands and stuff.

Congrats on the new truck!

There are a few problems here with what everyone is saying about the MIT. I agree it is a great way to go, BUT Airaid does not make a MIT for the 2009/2010 6.2l's. So, that bumps the price of a CAI back up to the $350 range.

Also, a Corsa Exhaust system is going to run you closer to $1000 unless you find a used one on Ebay.

Darn! That I was not aware of, pardon my ignorance everyone. I forgot that the 6.2L is relatively new and on the exhaust.....well the good stuff can dry up your money well quickly.

You are pardoned. Just don't do it again. :jester:

I know I quoted you, but a lot of people were suggesting a MIT. Which I would normally totally agree with (I have an MIT and K&N), but all of the 2009+ trucks have a different style MAF sensor. You can run an MIT unless you CUT your MAF out of your factory tube.

And Corsa is just expensive, but they sound great! I know there are often times good deals on ebay though.

Since your in Sioux Falls, and you are thinking about a BlackBear tune. There is a BlackBear in Rogers MN (Just north of the Twin Cities) going on April 23-24. If you go to the Black Bear Website you can find the date and pay your deposit and get a timeslot and also order your spare PCM so Justin can send it to you before the meet.
Hell if that's the case here is the link to the thread.

I just called him. I reminded him what he told me, and of course he gives me a line of BS about stockpiling tires etc etc. tells me he'll give me 300 for the tires that are already on it lol. I have the All terrain pkg, so they are already on/offroad tires, basically all terrains. if they would be fair, switching them out now would save me some money in the long run and give me better offroad capabilitys right away. So i tell him to have his boss call me, and he says he'll do some more talkin and these numbers are negotiable.

what a pleasure doin business with Billion GMC:lame:

I'm saying it really doesn't matter what CAI you go with. They are all about the same. Just make sure it doesn't just have an open element instead of a closed off box.

I would tell them to F off as far as the tires go. You can get them installed cheaper then that, plus be able to sell your brand new take offs.

Have you considered the Cooper Zeon LTZ's instead of the BFGs. The BFG AT used to be my favorite AT tire until I saw the Zeon LTZs
