Seriously! It was 72 degrees here today and I went on eBay and bought a new snow blower, crazy as that might sound.

I did it because I have a 60' long by 35' wide paved driveway, with a 30 degree slope down to the road. Any snow under about 4" is easy to clear, just walk with the shovel and push it in the ditch. Anything over 4" though is a PITA. As some of you probably know the DC area (I'm 50 miles south of DC) got hammered this winter. My driveway had three feet of snow on it and I didn't even try to clear it, just put the g/f's Dakota in 4x4 and drove over it. But, my main work truck was pretty much stuck in its parking spot for more than two weeks, putting me seriously behind schedule on a job I'm doing. That's unacceptable to me, so I did two things to correct the problem. Better tires for the truck, and a snow blower to clear the driveway.

It's a two-stage, self-propelled unit with a 6.5hp 4 stroke, 6 fwd and 2 reverse gears. Nice little unit... but... It's completely stock.

So, I'm thinking it needs some customizing... Maybe a lift kit? Bigger tires? Nice rims? Fog and driving lights? CD changer? Subwoofer?

What do you guys think?

(I wonder if K&N makes a kit for it...?)

(If this is in the wrong place I plead being a newbie here, and "Snowmobiles" sounded close enough to me)
