Been doing some surfing and came across this site. Top Tier Gas and it is interesting to see that Exxon/Mobil and BP are not listed.

It is interesting to see who is on the list. There are not many Shell stations around here. It is mainly BP, Exxon, Hess or small mom and pop stores like Handy Mart.

Out of all of those sellers the only local one I have is Sunoco, which is where I fuel up because the math proves my truck goes a little further on their fuel. Otherwise its Citgos, Kwik Fill, and Exxon.

From what I remember Sunoco has 94 octane. I wish they were down here in NC. Sheetz is moving in from what I can tell.

They dont up here, in my area at least. Just 87, 89, and 93.

Well it has been a while, like 20 years since I was at a Sunoco up in Pa.

There are two Mom & Pop stations/repair shops affiliated with Conoco that I use here. I actually go out of my way to fill up there. They are some of the only places around here to get 93 (no ethanol). I like the Mom & Pop gas stations.

It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
I've read the list many times before, but was talking to a mechanic last spring about all this. He had a bucket of top tier gas, and a bucket of "cheap gas station across the street" gas. All chemistry aside, you could really tell the difference it the sight, smell, feel, etc.

We've been filling up there as much as possible. Sadly, there's only a few stations in town on the list. :(
