Towing Mirrors - Painted? Opinions

I am getting ready to install my GM towing mirrors. I am considering having them painted to match. Not the entire assy, but just the black covers all the way to where the extension begins. So, the mount, swivel, and part of the arm will still be black. Somewhat like the painted caps are on the LTZ mirrors.

What do you all think? Just leave them black?

I was trying to figure out why are trucks did not have them already... I think that I had the same mirrors that you do now.. I switched out my step bars for the tow mirrors.. Cause at the time I had the little tires and it was easy to get into my truck..

It is an option. Yours had the powerfold mirrors?? That is odd for that trim level.

I thought that LT2 was all the same except for leather which I did not want at the time and nav radio... I should have most everything else..

Is your leather white? This was the only reason I did not get the LTZ Dmax that they had.. If I did it would have to be black leather..

I kick myself for not getting the LTZ.. I think t was only $1000-2000 more for me..

Carl, you should scoop them up so you can have the signals. You can have them painted all white and then sell yours off to recoup some of the cash.

Besides, I'm more partial to the 90s GM power mirrors...

And, they're a lot more likely to fit...
