I've been knocked down drug out and left for dead
When I put pad's, rotors, and calipers on my truck, they all came from Advance Auto Parts. I didn't have any issues with them.

What's wrong with Semi-metallic? Isn't that what came stock on early GMT800's?
I heard that ceramic doesn't have the initial bite that other pads have and I worry because I do a long freeway ride to work and with cold brakes, I need that initial bite when a jerk cuts me off (daily occurrence).

Ceramic is nice because it doesn't suffer fade like metallic and semi-metallic pads do...
I want ceramic pads and rotors... Just so when I slam on the brakes for some wicked drifting videos the rotors glow red

Is there seriously one?
No time on the weekends, and during the week my buddy and I have a different schedule so he can't help out. Guess the least I could do is buy the damn things. Since this thread I've got a trans cooler and door seal, neither will save my life when the brakes completely die.
