Long term, 4l80. There's only small handful of guys on PT.net making real power thru a fully built 4l6x. Like 600+. FLT says they wouldn't run theirs in a truck over 500rwhp.
Even their new Lvl 7? I thought there was an s-10 running their lvl 7 around 1000hp? :dunno:


Even a 4x4 S10 is 1000lbs lighter than Dan's truck :lol:

A beefed up 4L60E is more than enough for that little of weight :thumbs:

I wonder if Dan is shopping for a transfer case that can take that kind of power? :lol:

The transfer case should be able to handle it. There are guys running completely stock setups pushing 600rwhp and it has held up. It splits the power between all 4 wheels.
