Big Bird finally seen his snow, so had to snap a few pics. Wanted to play around in the drifts but had the fiance, aunt, and little cousin with me so I played it safe.

Question:
I need to change my exhaust exit location, because being dumped at the start of the bed, the diesel smell is really starting to seep into the cab, especially when idling. People told me this was going to happen but I took the chance. So I was think I'm going to have to route it back to the stock location or what if I went straight back and had slant cut tip aimed down right in the middle where the spare tire use to be? This is probably hard to picture but I've seen it on many trucks. Or there is also the possibility of dual tips, one on each side behind the tires:dunno: I can't decide, but my local exhaust shop is going to do the work as soon as I make up my mind, pretty inexpensive.

depends if you want it seen or not, you could dump it behind the axle, (near the spare) or factory, and/or dual.

banks is having a big ass sale! it might not be over yet! it was up 75% off for three days or something...:dunno:

could get a part of a kit or something, the part that goes over the axle...

You should've told them to fasten their seat belts and say their prayers....

Forget that. You need dual stacks with 45's . 5" exhaust pipes should suffice.

Or I would just put it in the stock location. Dual exhaust like you are talking about produces hotter emissions and higher EGT's

Really...that's cool, is it straight from their site, or a distributor?

:lol:Funny thing is I actually considered that at one point, I thought 2 black powder coated stacks would look sick.
I didn't know dual exhaust produce higher EGTs:confused: Why is that?

Keep it classic IMO

Or you could go with 6" stacks, but I'm not feeling the whole powdered coated black thing. I think Chrome would accent your bumpers perfectly.

We make a turob back black exhaust for the 6.0 trucks. It's quite popular actually. I am going to switch mine to black as well.
