So yesterday, I picked up the valve spring compressor, JPR tools (for holding up the lifters), and the harmonic balancer puller and the installation tool.

Got the balancer pulled off yesterday, and God DAMN was that bolt tight. I was using about a 24" long bar to get it off, and I had to bounce my 160lbs. on it to get it to BARELY break loose.

Today I picked up a compression tester, just for the hose and the fittings that screw into the spark plug holes (to hold up the lifters when I'm changing the springs).

Tomorrow morning I'm going to the dealer to get a new harmonic balancer bolt, and maybe a few extra valve retainers just in case I lose a couple. :D

Then the springs get changed, and I keep waiting for the cam/pushrods.

Buy one! :D2

Everything feels so much better now that I know that I have exactly the tools I need to do everything. No more worrying. :D

I'm probably going to call FLT about a trans tomorrow, too.

Not sure, that's what I gotta talk to them about (I'm not ordering for another while, yet).

I'm hoping he'll tell me that the level 4 will be more than enough, but that's probably wishful thinking. :D2

The lvl4 might be able to handle it if you add the billet output shaft but it doesn't say you can add that on the lvl 4.... only the level 5. I would want overkill on my transmission. Don't want to be breaking crap and having to send it back all the time.

Oh for sure. I'm just wishing for the 4 to be overkill, but I think I'll end up with the level 5 between the cammed 6.0, and the weight of my POS.
