So yesterday, I picked up the valve spring compressor, JPR tools (for holding up the lifters), and the harmonic balancer puller and the installation tool.
Got the balancer pulled off yesterday, and God DAMN was that bolt tight. I was using about a 24" long bar to get it off, and I had to bounce my 160lbs. on it to get it to BARELY break loose.
Today I picked up a compression tester, just for the hose and the fittings that screw into the spark plug holes (to hold up the lifters when I'm changing the springs).
Tomorrow morning I'm going to the dealer to get a new harmonic balancer bolt, and maybe a few extra valve retainers just in case I lose a couple.
Then the springs get changed, and I keep waiting for the cam/pushrods.
