I don't know if you are supposed to, but I don't, ever, unless I am moving it. (moving it long distances, not around the garage.)

I didn't realize this was talking about draining the moisture out, I thought the question was about draining the air. :dunce:

Yes, but the purpose of draining is to remove moisture... hence the progression in the thread that lost you.:D2

Probably not quite regulation but better than not ever doing it.

Maybe what they really want you to do is if you have one of those check valves that collects water. You should drain the water after every use.

It might be leaning towards draining as removing all water so that it does not reside in your tank for long periods of time.
