I wonder if this will help me install my servo.

You don't need any more help than the threads and videos here have given. It's an extremely simple job. If you have any mechanical ability whatsoever, you'll be fine.

I guess my only problem is gonna be gettin my big ass up under the truck.

None that I know of.

I'd suggest just saving up then and paying the $50-$80 to have it installed. There is no way I'd want to do it on the ground. It can be done, it'd just be a giant pain in the ass. You ABSOLUTELY need to do it before your tune though.

Hey Carl, and Matt, or anyone else that has done their own servo without a lift. How much more of a PITA is it without a lift? Is it just a lil harder, or will I be cussin and throwing tools around?

Depends on how easy it is for you to crawl around underneath the truck...

I did mine with just a floor jack, jack stands and a creeper. Lifts are for wimps.
