I forgot to mention all clear heads and corners if I find some I like. I dont want the orange reflector in either at all.

OH! and my mission for my Tahoe is to get rid of that damn AutoRide, inexpensively if possible. I just want to put a good set of shocks all the way around an level it. Probably drop the rear to do so.

Any help with this would be appreciated. I really like that rig. What a roadmaster!

What is wrong with the AutoRide?
Why do you want to get rid of it?

The compressor is getting noisy, and the ride just isn't as good as it could be with nice set of Bilsteins

If you haven't already done so...you may want to further check into what all is entailed in removing the AUTORIDE and replacing with aftermarket shocks.

I was under the impression that the AutoRide is computer controlled to give you real time damping on various types of road and driving conditions.

"IF" that is true... you will have to wire resistors into the wiring to fool the computer when you replace the AutoRide struts and shocks with Bilsteins.

Otherwise you will be getting all kinds of suspension codes and service suspension messages.

The air compressor only works (when needed) for leveling the rear.
It has nothing to do with the AutoRide struts/shocks.
That is two separate systems...kind of.

I could also be wrong about all of the above.

Does that mean I have to paint the car orange, put an "01" on the door, and put a giant Confederate Flag on top of it?? I could even get those fancy-smancy horns for it!
