Still waiting for the U-Joint to get here ..
Will be able to get the steering box back on ..
Also need the brace .. Hurry-up and wait type thingie ..

Got the driveshaft back, 3-1/2" shorter ..
The Boys did a superb job on it ...
Angle looks to be spot-on too ..
The two inch drop on the trans/transfer case netted the same angles at both joints..



Should be smooth sailing with no vibration ...

Steering box U-Joint came in ..



Need the brace and it's ready for "Lock & Load" ..

Found the internal shift stop ..
Do think I'll pull the column and get it on a workbench to modify the stop ...

I do have concerns about the factory switches having enough throw to allow for low gear engagement ??
I can use the "Ron Francis" indicator switch for the backup lights, it has the ability for them to work built in ..

Neutral safety switch is a whole difference story ??
Soon to see how that's going to work out ...

Moving right along with the project ..

These Boys used a whole spool of wire to weld up the brace .. Eek

Filled the cracks around the AC vents will All-Metal ...
Once it's under paint it should look ok ??

Got most of the holes welded up ...
