You guys suck.

Ouch. I filled up the Camaro with Premium for $2.299 a couple of days ago and felt screwed compared to Regular at the same place for $1.799. No special discounts or rewards cards or any of that.

I filled up at $2.15 a gallon yesterday morning. $54 and some change for 27 gallons.

Yep, took the Acadia to central Wa yesterday, about 600 miles total, and everywhere I got gas was north of $3

I'm glad I don't live out there in Hippieville! :D2

I now live in the Inland NW, having moved from Central WA. which was 62% hispanic BTW, so not many hippies. That is actually where I grew up, graduated, got married, and had our son, prior to moving to AK.

I need to school you on the NW, so settle in: :D2

I DID live in HippieVille. It was their Mecca, Eugene OR. Everything on the west side of the Cascade range in OR and WA is HippieVille. Unfortunately, that is the bulk of the population, and they control all of the laws, being the majority. We call ALL of that area Northern California.

So, you are right in that aspect, our gas prices suck because of all of that tax for the clean air acts.

BUT, where I live now, at the Idaho border, it is definitely not HippieVille LOL. In some ways, it is quite the opposite, if you know what I mean. The wife and I drove across the border and were admiring how well built some of the compounds were :D2

Are things (taxes, gas prices, etc.) very different in ID?

Yeah... To me, anywhere with that much higher of gas prices (in the Continental US) is probably that way because of extra taxes. So, that sounds "hippie-ville" to me. :D2

The definitely control all the gas taxes around here.

ID has a bit lower taxes, but not much. Gas is about 10-15 cents lower.

That's not enough to jack with movin'!

When I was in AZ a few weeks ago, there was this one town that had $3.99 gas and $2.99 gas, all within a block or two of each other. It was kind of weird.
