Got the word back on the truck... Encoder motor relearn got it back into gear, and they unplugged the thing so it can't do it again, lol.
Gives me time to get a new encoder motor... Or do more digging, at least...
Got them to change the fluid, and no metal in the old stuff, so that's a good sign.
