We are waiting for some 5er pics, brother!!

Gonna be a while...unless one of the dealers comes back with decent numbers, that's on hold, at least for this year. :)

I think the dealer thought they had us with stars in our eyes about the upgrade, but I'm more than happy to walk away. We'll see if they reach out in the next couple weeks, or even at the end of the year when they want it off their books.

Oh, trust me, I get it

There is NO worse deal than an RV trade deal, with a dealer! You think cars lose their value quick? They are collector's items compared to RVs.

I have been beaten into submission :D2

If you sell privately, and then go in with cash to put down, you stand a better chance.

I did pretty good on mine, and hate the thought of losing all that on a trade

I financed 40% of the cost, and it will be paid off next year.

Then, like the idiot I am...I will trade it in for less than half of what I paid for it, for another overpriced pile of staples and sticks

The manufacturers actually make a few that they claim are 1/2 ton towable....they're *tiny*.
These days anything under 12k is "technically" half-ton towable... Other than being gutless, there wasn't a huge difference between my half-ton and my dually, for towing 10k.

But that's with properly set WD bars... Without the bars, I wouldn't tow my trailer with a half-ton, lol.

The old truck never got that squishy overloaded feeling, though.... So... Technically... Lol.

Yeah...i couldn't imagine towing our 10K trailer very far with a my 1500. Hence the Duramax ;)

As far as fifth wheels go...i think this hitch would use up half the payload capacity of my 1500. this thing is a beast.! :)
