I wish I had done more research. I bought on a whim, and had to do something. Fast.
If I had to do it all over again, I would not have bought a slider. The cuts on the front of my 5er don’t really require it for 90% of maneuvwrs. I have used it once for a sharp jackknife park job. Still, I would not do it over.
I would get a B&W, the heaviest mofo I could afford. I say this because now I want a heavier trailer

did you you have factory prep to start with or did you start from scratch? also, remind me...what are you currently towing gvwr/pin weight wise?
From scratch. I did the entire install myself.
I have a 16k Curt slider setup, and I average 14-15k. I scaled it last year on our 2 week trip to Montana, and it weighed 15.5 fully loaded with water with a 2400 pound pin.
Air bags are a must.
I will go to a 20k B&W when I upgrade to my 34 foot Grand Design
