I really think if I had to buy a 19 model, it would be the new Ram. I'm not in love with either of the GM siblings. Can't call them twins any longer. They have taken them in as big of different directions as I have ever seen. I think this is the first time the sierra and silvy really have been anything other than just cosmetically different.

Turncoat Goatboy

LOL

I keep wanting GM to offer something that is going to pull me back. I do think the Sierra gimmicky tailgate is cool. And their trailer camera system. But this lawnmower motor shit...I don't know about that.

I will be interested in seeing power numbers from the 1500 diesel and what the 3/4 tons look like. I have a few years before I'm in the market anyway.

I haven't read the article, but the :quote: is enough to make me want to bypass this.

Yep!

The problems GM is still having with the 8 speed transmission, I'm thinking "year one" problems are lingering longer than they used to. :uhoh:

I wouldn't want to have anything to do with it. Sounds like trouble to me.

I buy a V8 because I want V8 power...not some fancy piece of shit that has to rely on a computer to figure out how/what/when to activate cylinders. Wow, did that make any sense?

This is exactly why I still chisel shit into stone and why I died of the Plague at 27.

Unfortunately, they're probably going to be in the same boat as the 2017 6.6 and we won't be able to delete them :(

However, if my truck isn't fixed by the time the new diesel rolls out, and it can be deleted, I'm probably going to trade my pig off, lol

My wife's V6 has more HP and torque than your V8.

Modern engines, and all that

Would you tow your trailer or haul a ton of whatever with your wife's V6? :dunno:
