A couple weeks ago, had new tires put on, BFG T/A KO2's. So far I'm really happy with them. Changed the front and rear diff fluids and transfer case fluid, changed the coolant (it was still the original). Then emergency brake pedal mechanism broke, had to replace that, then the lower ball joints needed replacing and had to have those changed.

I changed out a fuel tank vent line and a evap canister. Taking the bed off makes for easy work. No more P0442 code for me.

I think I have the only truck produced that this canister is placed in a PITA area. Most are easy to get to from under the truck. But no, mine is on top where you can't get to it unless you pull the bed.

Changed the front and rear diff fluid. They both had 90,500 miles on them. Truck has 162,422 miles total.

My truck is probably due for some of that. More than likely, way over due. :uhoh:

Jeff, the average vehicle owner is way over due. The diff's are something most just don't think about.
Also, brake fluid... More people forget about that. lol

My little commuter car recommends a 15k mile interval on brake fluid changes!!! I can't imagine doing it that often...I bought it brand new 8 months ago and have almost 30k miles on it!

Speaking of brake fluid. I did the trucks a long time ago. So it is going on seven years now. I figure I will flush it again either this fall or when I need new front pads, which are still the original ones at 162k miles.
