Do you ever pull a trailer, Michael? I was wondering if they showed you the trick with the tailgate, and the cable to point the camera over the hitch. It is super cool when hooking up

I don't have a trailer yet. Anything could happen, though.

What trick are you referring to? This one points down low enough that you can see the bumper. I would think I could see a hitch, too, if one were attached. :dunno:

Just open your gate, and put the cable over the striker. The gate hangs at 45 degrees, pointing the cam straight down, directly over your hitch ball. Works awesome!

Yep, still gives you a field of view of about 6 feet, so you can still see the trailer coming at you. I just leave it closed, line it up until a get close, and then open it. You only have to get out once instead of 5 times like the old days

You can do it with it closed, but the funky angle was always getting me to back in a couple of inches too far. This gets you dead nuts over the top.

Seems like an insignificant thing, but I like it :jester:

That's all I ever use the camera for... Knowing when to stop, lol. A dually makes it sooooooo much easier to line up with the center of the trailer.
