Can I pull the bed on the white Tahoe?

I think it's going to need one too. Remote start often takes two times now and manually, it sometimes cranks a little longer than it used to before it fires up. It seems louder than normal too.

TAHOES SUCK for doing pumps. I did ours a couple of years ago. It had a full tank.

Just remember to pull the damn vent line after you drop it about 2 inches

You can't get to it while it is all the way up, and it is not long enough to drop the tank all the way down to do it.

I need to get a gauge. I think my huffy down the road has one. He has a lift too, fortunately.

Check valves do fail. It is part of the pump assembly. I'd bet your pump is failing. Put on pressure gauge and get the reading, key on, engine off. Post it. See how long it will hold pressure after you turn key off. 55-62 lbs is the spec. Even 1 lb or so below spec will make a difference in how the vehicle starts/runs

Well my pump is shot then. I got 48 psi when I turned the key on and even when I started it. When I turned the key off it went down to 30psi. So time to order a new pump. I got up with Rich MS3DALE and gave him my VIN and so I know the exact pump I need. Going to run me $198. There were lesser expensive pumps but I'm not sure if the part numbers matched up. I just went with the number Rich gave me which is MU1613 and AC Delco.

Now to rig something up so I can lift the bed off my truck in my garage using the rafters.

edit: Ordered through Rock Auto, $192.74 total using the discount code.

Thats cheap! Mine is $303 through Rockauto. Damn bed length makes a difference in these things. I'm getting mine at O'reilly for $330 because I need it today.

My truck just popped the abs light and stabilitrack and traction control turned off. I guess that's a good reason to get it to the shop to get that and the wheel speed sensor for the trailer brake controller to work.

Well I got the fuel pump changed finally. Damn auto parts store (O'Reilly's) gave me the wrong pump the first time. Had to call so they could order it in because they didn't have the right one in stock. Luckily they could get it in by 2 this afternoon so I borrowed my buddy's truck and went and got it. When I got it back to the shop I had to persuade it into the hole. Finally got the bed put back on and only snapped one bed bolt. Mission accomplished
