Scam or no?

Yeah, I saw that after I posted this, definite scam. I posted this on facebook too and a friend said he got a word for word same exact text when he was selling his Civic.

Well, at least you (and hopefully your friend, too) didn't fall for it!

They can hack someone else's PayPal account and pay for something. When the person realizes they paid for a truck PayPal only protects them, not you. The money goes back to the guy that got hacked and you don't get your truck back or the money. That's just one of many ways they use PayPal to **** you over. I don't use PayPal if the amount is over a couple hundred.

So are you saying I shouldn't have sent him my paypal address? or address, or birthday, or mothers maiden name, or ssn? Crap, and you cancel text messages?

Another person on facebook said people will "accidentally" pay you more than you ask and have you send them back the extra money. Then once they get the money you find out they had a fraudulent account that they paid you from.
