That's a wicked reinforcement. Is the idler arm flex caused by the added lift and larger tires or is this an issue on all GMT800s?

mainly because of the weight of the tires... but if you have any big after market wheels or etc... i would recommend this support. hell... it wouldnt hurt on a stock truck either really.. but if you stick bigger tires on it at all.. i would definitly do it... i should have taken a video of mine.. the flex it had.. it was nuts. good 1/4 inch each way.. doesnt seem like much.. but steel shouldnt move like that.

I have this "thing" about my front wheels remaining attached to my steering wheel at all times. Call me crazy.

Something like this is a requirement in the S-Series to run a locker... But first, you need to fab up a mount to flatten the idler arm mount to fit the 3/4 ton idler arm....

All GM made IFS trucks need this kind of re-enforcement...

You should get them to make a kit for the S-Series trucks :lol:
