Yep, that oil works well. I also have a few customers that love MP for their guns and fishing reels.

Am I crazy for buying better oil for my guns than my trucks? :)

That one quart will last me a lifetime. I was paying 8 bucks for 1.5 oz of EWL, so 8 bucks for a quart if this was a no brainer. I ran some 0w30 Mobile 1 at the range this winter and it did great. No more high priced gun oil for me! I think engine oil is the way to go

I may try some of that spray, Nick.

I've been using it for years. I think it works better than the high dollar stuff in a tiny can I was using before.

I am hoping so. I really love the smell of the Slip 2000 EWL, and it is great lube, but damn it's expensive. I took a few days off, and cleaned and lubed half my guns while moving them to the new safe(s). This consumed several ounces of oil, and I am not buying any more $10/oz oil. Just nuts!
