Have you pulled off the EGR and looked in it? I had a blazer once that started running like shit all at once and after running out of things to replace I pulled the EGR off and it had a big chunk of carbon stuck in it.
Good point.

I guess i didn't say earlyer but when we got it it was hard to start. Would turn over but not start. That is why i put a fuel pump relay and ignition module in it and it has started every time but some time runs ruff and like i said dies at stop lights and terable mileage.

Sorry i had to just now go and save it. It ran out of gas. Lol Anyway i noticed the temp gage wasnt reading right. It was blowing hot air like it should but gage was barly moved at all. Think this might have somthing to do with the way its running? Or cause so of it? I read somewere it may be some of the problem. Just didn't know if any of you guys had heard of this? Something about it staying in open loop cause its not showing its warming up?

It could if that sensor was also telling the computer that the motor was cold. How does it run after it sits all night?

I think it runs fine when its cold? It seemed to run pretty good when i went to get it. It had been sitting there for an hour and its cold here as of now. Lol.

The sensor for the guage is located in one of heads and it is a sinle wire. The sensor for the computer is located by the t-stat and has 2 wires. Check all of your grounds also, it is unusual for both sensors to go bad at the same time, and a bad ground would also account for the low EGR voltage.

Can't hurt a bit, remember to check your grounds. You may have a broken ground strap from the motor to the body.

Will do. I hope it helps. I also can get the egr valve from the warehouse for around $30-40 i think my cost. May just do both and see what happens. We put almost $400 in it so far from the repairs and tune up. Not to bad for a free pickup. :dunno:
