Man,nice truck!!!!! What you have is a VERY capable off-road vehicle that can go about anywhere. If there is some kind of locker or at least a limited slip differential in the rear that's even better.

You mentioned you mounted a set of BFG mud tires on it,would they be KM2s? I have a set on my burb and love 'em.

I see a Hydro-Boost power brake booster behind the master cylinder...not OEM,someone has added that or maybe replaced the vacuum booster that may have been there from the factory. That Hydro-Boost gets it's power from the power steering pump so be sure to keep that full of fluid.

If you want to get the heater working I suggest going to http://www.lmctruck.com/,they have all the parts you'll need to get it working again.

Good Luck with the Blazer, wish I had one to play with

BTW,Justin at Black Bear Performance is building one just like yours but with a little more modern engine & components.

The BFG M/T are not the KM2, that to me would be just to much tire for what I'll be using it for. Not sure if it has a locker in the rear. Is there any way to to tell if so w/o tearing apart rear gear casing? i mean, i could try and spin the tires and see if they spin together right? ha ha!
Could you enlighten me on the benefits of the Hydro Boost power brake booster? Thanks for the heads up on the fluids.

A LMC Truck catalog came with the purchase of the truck, along with some uninstalled parts. I've been drooling all over the catalog. Thanks for the kind words

It's probably 142,000.

:withstupid: The speedo's went back to 0 once they hit 100k.

No kidding? Hmm, not that you would lie or i don't believe you, but I'm going to be doing some research that. Just want to be knowledgable. At any rate, if its 142K, thats not bad for 40 years old.....if it was 242k, still not bad. Thanks for the info!

Hydro boost is good when there is a hot cam with little or no vacuum. Also is a space saver and puts a lot more pressure on the calipers & brake shoes.

Over the years I've purchased many parts from LMC Truck, first class store
