Which multimeter should I get?

Yeah, I know, everyone should have a multimeter in their tool box. I have been asked numerous times how I get the work done I do with out one. Some how I fumble through and figure it out. Well, no more. Not only do I need a multimeter but I also have to learn how to use one. I would l like to get one I can use on my automotive stuff as well as work around the house. I cannot spend a crapton of money but I do understand that I get what I pay for. So can you all guide me in picking out a reasonably priced, good quality multimeter that I can learn how to use?

A friend of mine has that one. That does look like a good price.

picked out a good one. Easy to use and will do multiple tasks around the house and vehicles.

I had one real similar to that when I was a pup. It was great for just tinkering around with things. But I have since bought a real nice Fluke, after which I learned I probably overpaid for, but it doesn't really compare.

Well like I said, my Fluke was pricey, but I'm not sure it's much better than the Craftsman linked to.

The Craftsman is a better deal. It also has an impact resistant case around it that absolutely will come in handy. I've dropped mine a few dozen times over the years and it's still on.
