Couple of questions for you guys:

1) I sanded through the primer on the edges. It is smooth. Do I need to redo the adhesion promoter or primer? If I do need to re-spray, can I do the adhesion promoter on top of the primer (I don't need to fill it back in now anyways)?
2) Can I use rubbing alcohol to wipe the plastic parts down before painting?

Thanks.

Pics to come.

Well, I decided to just go with wiping it off with rubbing alcohol and doing 2 layers of adhesion promoter (5 min. between) and then waiting 15 minutes to do the paint itself.

I'll get them all painted tonight and takes some pics of them wet with the clear coat on them and post them up for you guys to see.:D

Looks good Matt, I kinda like the color of the adhesion promoter, I think that would really have accented your interior

The "Hot Rod Rust" color isn't the adhesion promoter, its the filler primer. The adhesion promoter is clear. But none the less, ya the red might have looked OK.

A couple pics outside in the sun. (I probably won't get any of them on the truck until the weekend.)

A camera just can't do a paint job justice.

I really hope the paint sticks good. I don't want to have to sand them all the way down.

Of all the pieces that I will eventually do, these are the 2nd most worn items (1st are the window switch panels.) So these should really show how good of a job I did.

I can't wait to see them in the truck!
