Most people who hate on Miatas have simply never driven one. They are a blast. They don't need some overpowered boat anchor V8 to be a joy to drive... those people are missing the point. Their loss not mine. I've owned half a dozen Miatas.

Miatas were made to follow the classic British roadster way, lightweight allowing even a small engine to have a quick throttle response with those tiny wheels. And also not gas-guzzlers (maybe this is why my dad likes Miatas so badly, even never having had one).
