I imagine it's like baseball. I can't stand to watch baseball on TV, but could go to a live game every week. Or play it every day.

Maybe I need to go to a track in person to watch a race and/or steal a racecar

Going to the track for a major event will hook you for life. Watching it on TV simply does not compare.

It as different as watching fat people **** on an old 12 black and white TV - OR - spending the weekend with two hot nymphos and a half pound of cocaine.
