Well I am currently looking for new tires for my truck and was going to go get some LT285/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers for a little less than $1000 installed. I was looking on craiglist and found a set of these tires with 90% thread left and Black XD Hoss wheels 17x9 with 5.7 backspacing. He is asking $1300 for the set. I wasn't looking for rims but I think they will look good on my new truck.

What do you think? Get the use set with wheels or just new tires?

Your wheels look great on your truck; just get tires. Those other wheels are crap compared to what you're rockin' already.

I was thinking I could swap the tires and then put my stock tires on the XD rims and run them during the winter months.

I'd buy the used ones and throw them on! I'm one of the non haters though of black wheels on here.

Well I am passing on the deal unless he comes done on the price. I would have to spend money to get sensors for the wheels and have them install and rebalanced. Not worth it IMO. Plus I will have another set of wheels and tires to store.

Good call:thumbs:

If you currently had a stock wheel/tire setup it would be a different story. You're truck looks great!
