Be sure to check the brake and fuel lines up near the front of the truck, they like to rust out between the driver's front wheel well and over the top of the fuel tank.

If you have full coverage insurance in effect, and the dealer doesn't take it back, tKe it to the boat launch to go fishing. And just hope those brakes keep the truck from sliding down into the water with the boat............:ninja:

I've seen trucks that are dedicated to taking boats in and out of salt water all day with less rust than that.

The bad spots are parts that can be changed.. Turns out the thermostat and heater core were bad and there isn't any serious engine trouble like I thought.
