Windshield Washer Concentrate

Any one use windshield washer fluid concentrate? One of my pet peeves is having a clean windshield and with the bugs we have in the south, I go through gallons of the stuff regularly. For the price,(for example) this stuff , makes 16 gallons for $10. There are other brands and sizes that make more, but it looks like it would be very good, cost effective wise.



Anyone use it or similar concentrate with good results?

I have customers that do, for their fleets. They swear it is the way to go. I too cannot stand a dirty windshield. My wife could have a 2 inch circle cleaned off, and she would be happy

The concentrate just needs mixed with good water. He mentioned having mixed it with water that was really hard, and having impossible spots to clean off

Are you using anything like Rain-X or Aquapel? I use Aquapel and go through very little washer fluid in a year

Have not used that but started to use these tabs.

The jury is out as to how well they work, just started using them two weeks ago. I change a lot of oil for folks and always fill their WWT so I was looking at a less expensive option myself.

I probably only go through a couple of gallons a year.

I go through a lot of washer fluid myself. I generally wait for it to be on sale then grab a dozen or so gallons.

I did that as well when Dollar General had it on sale for a $1 a gallon. Grabbed two cases of it.
