Window Tint

Sucks that NC you can't go any darker than 35% and then they charge extra when you get your vehicle inspected if it isn't factory tint.

Well technically nick i have 5% and i have a friend that inspects it for me.

Factory tint is almost always 20%. I use to tint windows and it's been like that for years. 20% matches factory tint the best. 35% is too light in my opinion. All our vehicles have 20% all way around.

I didn't know that was an option on those year trucks. The only 2 things my 97 was a rear defroster and a 454

Not sure what years they started making them with the defrosters but the original owner of my truck ordered it from the factory with every option he could.
