They'll come back stronger than before...

If they handle this right, I think you are correct. Mistakes happen in every company, but the true test is how you handle those mistakes. That is what will make or break them.

I have a friend and somewhat mentor that told me one time..."You can be the worst vet in the world, but if you treat people right and they like you, they won't sue your ass" Obviously he was being a smartass at the time, but the point is still sound:thumbs:

Just a guess, but 6 weeks. :dunno:

There's already commercials on TV talking about their commitment to quality, and that commitment will take care of you and help you get through these tough times. :wtf:

It is very important to have these guys on staff:

First; 'Toyota, Driving you forward, whether you want to or not.'
Now; 'Sorry guys, to save costs we're using a cheaper brake pad!'

Many manufacturers have had similar blowups. They will take a hit for sure but they will bounce back from it. Meanwhile other brands will se a surge in sales. Never know, some people who only bought Toyotas in the past may find another brand.

GM, Chrysler, and Ford have all weathered storms of bad publicity over one thing or another, and they all seem to be doing OK. One thing that is for sure... Toyota is taking it in the shorts right now!
