Took our first trip in the car today. Very happy with the way it drove and the gas mileage. The car has very little road noise and is very comfortable, and we averaged 34.4 MPG.

Very good... glad to hear it...
I think it will a good car for road trips. It is one of the few cars that I've driven that hasn't bothered my back on a road trip.

THAT RIGHT THERE is worth a whole bunch...
That's is one reason I drive what I do... because of my knees...
It is one of the very few cars I can drive a long distance without my knees swelling up..
It's all about the seats, my truck doesn't bother me either. I guess it because the seat is high enough that it's more like sitting in a chair. :D

For me it is the BOTTOM of the seat that is important...
I am short and have short legs... if the seat puts pressure on the back of the bend of my knee... it is BAD NEWS... :( :(

The length of the seat bottom is very important for comfort. The Saturn the wife used to have had short seat bottoms plus the car sat low which made getting in and out difficult. It was a love hate relationship with that car.

Most larger cars I have driven lately... in the last 4 or 5 years...the bottom of the seat is just a little bit too long to be comfortable for me.

I'm not really looking forward to paying the price of another Cadillac... :ohnoes:
I hope I can find something less expensive that will still do everything I want it to do and still be comfortable for really long road trips...
If not.. then I will get another one like this one.
I "KNOW" it will do what I want it to do.. :rollin:

Having a 6 way or 8 way power seat makes a world of difference also.

Congrats on the Altima! We've had our 09 now 2 years this month and it's been trouble free the first 31K miles.
