GMs have leaked
Rams blew transmissions and rotted out prematurely
Fords shot spark plugs out all over the road
Tundras are made by toyota

...all trucks have problems.

I just ordered three 8 oz bottles of this:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/atp-at205

ATP-AT-205-Reseal.bmp

I used it in my daughter's 98 LeSabre and it worked on her valve cover gasket leaks.

Just a shame this needs to be done on a $55K Corvette with 42K miles and a $43K truck with 57K miles, while a $27K Honda appliance-mobile with 37K miles sits in the same garage dry as a bone and has yet to see a service floor other than for oil changes. :frustration:

Did it ever cross your mind that it might have helped to replace the valve cover gaskets and/or to make sure that they were torqued properly, NOT overtightened?

I am a fan of doing things the white, I mean-right way...

It seems that you are a reoccurring problem. Especially since after all my many years of being on forums, you are the only one with leaks... Bwahaha

Brian, the LeSabre is an old car with 100K+ miles. My back is shaped like a river and has disc degeneration and goes out more often than I do. No way in hell am I going to put my back out working on a 16 year old Buick. Especially when this stuff worked.

As for my truck and Vette, if I planned to keep them more than another year or 2, I would have them fixed the right way. But this is a cheap/easy alternative which may just work so I can dump them on some GM nutswinger like you.

And if you think I am the only one with oil leaks on the GM forums...well...wow, remove your head from the sand dude...seriously.
