"Why can't ALL GM Vehicles be leak free" is NOT saying they all leak. It's not really all that hard to comprehend if you read it slowly Chief.

I must say, I did not realize the majority of TMC'ers are still GM fanboys that get butthurt when someone says negative things about their beloved GM.

I was a die-hard GM fan, but my last few GM vehicles have seriously disappointed me.

What are you disagreeing with?

That the vast majority of any brand vehicle should not leak any fluids within the first 100K miles?...let alone <50K miles?

Is that acceptable to you? and no, this is NOT an anomaly, the GMT900's are known for leaking AND burning oil and there are numerous complaints of C6's leaking oil on CF. It is a common issue.

I disagree with your facts. Why? Because they do not apply to me, nor any of my GM vehicles that I either own/have owned, or have purchased for my company.

So, I will not claim otherwise. It's really not that tough to see why I disagree.

You even had a oil leak yourself on your brand new truck.

I simply stated that it is NOT a rare occurrence, it is a common issue on the GMT900's and the C6 Vettes. I am NOT saying they ALL leak, but based on what I have read, and been told by more than one tech, it is a common issue. It SHOULD be a very rare occurrence IMO.

You are free to believe it is OK or deny that it is an issue.

and I am not trying to start a pissing match. I am simply PISSED OFF at GM and I think I have every right to be. If that bothers you or anyone else...that is your problem, not mine. Stay out of my bitch threads if you don't want to read about it.

hell, I have 2 very expensive vehicles, both with very low miles and they are both leaking oil...among numerous other expensive issues with the truck. But I am not supposed to be pissed off?

and FYI Scott, there have been multiple TSB's for oil leaks on the GMT900's.

As well as for oil burning/consumption on AFM equipped engines.

Those are facts, and you "disagreeing" with them does not change that.
