A lot were just using it to get free money towards their shitty car. But I do remember seeing some fairly nice cars amongst the pictures that didn't quite make sense.

When their programs fail, they say "but we care". That's all. Makes them feel good.

Well, I'm already starting to see "late model" cars running around with bent fenders, faded paint jobs from never being washed & waxed properly, etc.. It's just a matter of time before the govt gets a chance to try it again with more "up to date" clunkers...... :uhoh: :jester:

Anyone with a brain saw this coming. That was such a waste. Go to YouTube and type in cash for clunkers. There are so many videos of good condition cars and trucks being needlessly destroyed. Tahoes, Surburbans, Explorers, 1/2 tons of all brands that easily pass inspection all being destroyed by a jerkoff that rides around in a group of cars that get 8mpg at best surrounded by a group of Surbubans. What a double standard shit stain he is.

Though almost a thousand million of people poured into car dealerships eager to exchange their old jalopies for something shiny and new, recent reports indicate the entire program may have actually hurt the environment far more than it helped. and it is use for recycle for the car.
