Who all's had problems with the Dodge transmissions?

I'm just curious if its coincidence or does everyone have/heard of all the transmission problems of the transmissions in dodges? Particularly in the 2001 models. I've either had or known of 4 personally to have problems. On my '01 2500 i had to replace the torque converter. And it still really doesn't like high gear lol. On my fathers 1500 he had to have it completely rebuilt. Same on my uncles 2500. and replaced another torque converter on a buddies 1500. None have been abused or mistreated. My buddies did see some off-roading but even then, other things would be wrong, not the transmission. Anyway, just wondered if everyone else has these problems

I had an 01 1500 for a work truck, and it had tranny issues with less than 30k miles on it. Dealership couldn't find a problem, and our fleet guy said to just drive it till it broke. I moved locations before it did, but I am sure it did eventually.

My current Dodge seems to have a pretty decent tranny. I like the way it shifts and like the gear ratios better than any of the other autos I have had lately. So far, no issues with it, and haven't heard of many on the Dodge forums.

I know a guy here in the neighborhood that had his tranny go out in his '06ish Dodge 1500 Hemi and he put a 6-speed in it. Happened around 40-50k miles if remember correctly.

My 04' still has the original at 110,000 miles and still shifts good. My dad's 01' 2500 has had it replaced at about 100,000, but he also tow's alot.

My mother's 01 Ram had the 1st one go out around 30K, then again around 75K. It was fine after the second repair, and lasted at least until she traded it back on 2009.
