Who all details out their truck??

I don't. The most I do is wash and wax. Being on a farm, nothing stays clean long. I need to claybar my truck though, the swirls in the paint are horrible.

The clay won't get those out.

Porter Cable for the occasional use, if you are a pro doing this for a living then get the Flex. Flex is 2~3 times more expensive, but it saves you time doing a correction. IMO go with the PC.

I have the PC starter kit from Adam's. I bought the PC on Amazon though.

For my first time ever using a machine like it, I think it was extremely easy. I just haven't had the time to do it again plus I need more Detail Spray (still hoping for a good Daily Special )

Does anyone pop out hail dents themselves? I have one on my hood that when it is clean just smiles at me. Its like a quartersize dent.

You can try dry ice. Do it after the hot sun has warmed up the metal and use a rag with dry ice in it and rub over the area. If memory serves me correct a damp rag. Usually works on dents that size and slightly bigger. Worth a try and a cool science experiment IMHO.

We used it on our vehicles when we had AMPLE supply of it working at a slaughterhouse ,but they sell it at Wally World and some convenience and grocery stores.

WEAR THICK ASS GLOVES!!!!!!!! Dry ice will give you frost bite in nano seconds. It's nothing to fwonkin' play with.

I use Meguiars,Mothers and Eagle one products and hand do it. I have a 9 year old imperfect factory paint job with little nicks and chips in it so I can't justify anything more then a basic detail.

When I get a new paint job I will most DEFINATELY invest in products and supplies to keep it "showroom quality new".
