I'd just slice it longways, and peel it off. Should come off in one big sheet once you get it going, at least in the places where the rust is bubbling.

Yeah huh. Hey Dan I noticed the boot on the passenger outer tie rod is cracked. What should I do? Get some inexpensive Moog ends?

i dont think moog makes them for your truck. might have to go with the OEM

Just checked rockauto, turns out two different Moog tie rod ends are available for my truck. Might go with raybestos though, they appear to be pcoated or painted, and they have a fused polyurethane boot (albeit blue in color lol) which is less prone to cracking.

Going with Moog, they look beefier. Amazon has them at a good price too.

I contacted Jenna, she's getting me a price on the powerslots and hawk pads.
