Re: Wheels - Time for some changes - UPDATE: He went with the Methods! Pics in post 5

Just buy what you want, and cut them to length if you can't get them that short.. Hit the end with a die. The stock ones are hideous

That's gonna be a lot of work lol um there's only 100 of them

It's worth the effort. Those blow.

It won't take as long as it does to read this thread. Just sayin'

Agreed, these are pretty homely looking. They almost look hand made or something, they're really ugly.

So I'm trying to figure where my fifth wheel is, excellent!

The single tracking number supplied by polyperformance.com keeps coming up as shipping label created, which means the item hasn't been picked up yet. Meanwhile there are 4 other tracking numbers that have been updated as being delivered, obviously because I have 4 sitting here. Couldn't get through to polyperformance so I called Method directly, guy there is trying to figure out what happened, he insists 5 were shipped. Weird. AWESOME! :fume:

The wheels I bought for my dad a few months ago had the same issue. 4 Shipped, 3 showed, the other one was/is lost in limbo. We had to have a 4th one reshipped, but our dealer :)bbp:) had us taken care of in NO TIME at all. :D

Well they need to figure it out cause I paid for 5.

Can't find squat for replacements for the bolts. I think they're M8 1.25 thread pitch. I found some 12pt flange bolts I may order. They would look good in the flat black.

Yeah I'm with everyone else...great wheel choice.

I wouldn't have given a second thought to the bolts until it was pointed out. I think they will look badass the way they are but I agree it will be an improvement if you can find some replacements.

I wouldn't worry about the 5th wheel. They will get it to you. They can't prove you ever received it. Unfortunately it might turn into a hassle but you should be covered.

Yeah I know, it's just an added hassle. The bolts they came with are really crude looking.

Re: Wheels - Time for some changes - UPDATE: Fuels it is!

I actually messed up on the price for the billet caps, they are $60 each, $300 for 5.

That's a fuckton of money for center caps, but DAMN do they look better than those plastic ones...

Whatever you do, please find a way to debadge the center caps, it looks dumb having the name of the wheel twice, about 4" apart.

Oh, and I'm a fan of these wheels.

Yeah well the billet center caps as I stated don't appear to be engraved but rather just have a silk screened method logo on them so they would be blank after pcoating.

Why don't you go with us Sat? A bunch of us from various forums are gonna be hanging out.

I'm bringing one of the wheels with me to see what others think of them in person. I still can't figure out why I can't capture how they look in person in pictures its strange. I think it's the fact that in photos you can't appreciate how massive they are, how deep set in the spokes are, didn't expect to like them this much. But then I think of photos I've seen Of them straight from the side where I didn't like them as much.

Saturday's my first day of spring break, and I really have no idea what I'll be doing. There is a ton of stuff I need to get done in a week, and I have no clue when I'll be doing it.
