Re: Wheels - Time for some changes - UPDATE: Fuels it is! ?

The two finishes should appear more different from each other than in my photoshop. Flat/satin black almost appears dark grey and has that velvetly sheen, the gloss black will be a deep, rich shiny black.

I think either of those will look great. I do like the gloss/satin better than the all satin though.

ORDER THEM BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!! :willy:

Figured you would, I do too, that small detail makes a big difference. I'm sure it can be done, finding the right person to handle this will be key.

I talked to a shop that specializes in repairing damaged rims and they do custom pcoating/painting for all and any rims, anything can be done according to this guy. I'll call tomorrow to find out specifics.

but seriously i think youll love them either way. i like your wheels as of now but im sure you can work in a sick twist into the new set to make your new coilovers pop.

I hope you have better luck this time with your powder coating people.

The coilovers will pop no matter what, they're copper.

People think I need to have machined accents on my wheels, I don't really agree, the polished skidplate, polished rear diff cover, coilovers and rear shock/resis (which I will be ordering in a matching copper anodized from KING) will really stand out on my mostly black truck, just the effect I'm going for.

Yeah I'm not using my old guy (who is redoing the coils right now for me since he was able to get the troublesome powdercoat chrome to lay down nice for first time) or the new guy I found who is doing the black chrome on the other parts, don't think this is within either of their scope. This wheel place sounds like it may be promising, after all, they repair bent wheels to factory finish. The guy sounded very confident in his specialzed techniques.
